ALBUM REVIEW: Nest – Endeavors

Nest is helmed by multi-instrumentalist John Jarvis of Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Scour. Given his connection to Phil Anselmo through Scour, it only makes sense for this project to be on Housecore Records. Endeavors marks the third full-length album of the project. They opened select dates for Pantera’s recent tour; they are at least heavy enough to warrant having a slot on that run. Continue reading

LIVESTREAM REVIEW: Scour – Shock Narcotic

Last Friday (1/29/21) I got to check out the live stream from Housecore bands Scour and Shock Narcotic. Both of these groups are “supergroups” but I’m not going to get into that right now. I will say though that the list of bands that make up the background for each band are some of my favorites so I was kinda excited for this show.

Fulgora Streaming “Meridian” Music Video

fulgora

Fulgora is streaming their music video for “Meridian,” off their debut full length Stratagem, out March 24, 2015 via Housecore Records, here.

Boasting members of Pig Destroyer, Misery Index and Agoraphobic Nosebleed, FULGORA is a nihilistic grindcore/death collective devising violent hymns of audio destruction. Melding death, grind and hardcore-laden, vulturine vocal incursions, the band’s sadistic output is the sound of a world gone rotten with apathy, disease and decay.

The band features guitarist/vocalist B. L. LaMew, bassist John Jarvis, drummer Adam Jarvis and live guitarist Sparky Voyles (ex Dying Fetus).
