Sad news to report as we have learned that former Divine Heresy and Nile bassist Joe Payne has died. He was 36. No cause of death has been revealed. News of his passing came from a post from his former Divine Heresy bandmate Tommy Vext, who posted a message about Joe on Facebook. Payne had some personal and legal troubles, but he was well-liked and a killer death metal bassist. Other bands Payne was formerly involved in included Lust of Decay, A Sudden Fear, and his most recent Domination Through Impurity, Pain After Death, and Strains.
