Metallica’s new album 72 Seasons – will release on their own label Blackened Recordings on April 14th, 2023! All of the singles released so far have videos directed by Tim Saccenti. 72 Seasons The singles are streaming on all DSPs and the album is available for pre-order now on their website. They will also launch the album with a global release party in movie theaters on April 13th. The band has announced they will be the EXCLUSIVE musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! all week long from 4/10-4/13.

“Hurricane” Nita Strauss Officially Joins Demi Lovato’s Touring Band


Just days after stepping down from her eight-year stint as one of the guitarists in Alice Cooper’s touring band, Nita Strauss has officially joined pop star Demi Lovato’s touring band. Lovato will release her Punk Rock-styled album Holy Fvck on August 19th via Island Records, which Stauss did not perform on. Lovato dropped her first single and video for the rocking and fun track “Substance” the other day, and Strauss joined the band to perform for the first time Live on Jimmy Kimmel, in which Demi also played guitar. Demi has repped Punk, Metalcore, Deathcore, and Death Metal for years and years as a fan and also in her first musical projects. Continue reading

Ghost performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last night (March 16th, 2022) as they played their recent single “Call Me Little Sunshine” from their new album Impera (Loma Vista Recordings/Spinefarm). Ghost was originally scheduled to perform on the January 20 episode of the ABC show, but canceled the day of citing they “had a bit too much going on in Reno, getting all our shit together” for the band’s U.S. co-headlining tour with Volbeat and Twin Temple. Ghost To Perform on Jimmy Kimmel This Week, New Tour Kicks-Off Soon


Heavy Metal band Ghost will be perform this week on the Thursday, January 20 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, airing at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC. The band will kick-off a US headline tour with Volbeat and special guests Twin Templenext week The trek will kick off on January 25th in Reno, Nevada and conclude on March 3rd in Anaheim, California. The band put our theiur new “Hunster’s Moon” single in October of 2021.

Stars from across Rock and Metal will join together on a livestream to raise money tonight on the David Z Foundation Livestream. David Z (David Zablidowsky) was the brilliant metal and progressive rock musician best known for his work in bands such as Adrenaline Mob, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and ZO2, died three years ago on July 17th, 2017 when a tractor-trailer collided with Adrenaline Mob’s tour bus. Metallica to Release Delayed S&M2 Boxed Set This Summer


After missing their original release window earlier this year, Metallica will release their S&M² box set, featuring Metallica’s 2019 performance with the San Francisco Symphony will be made available in August. The news of the set’s release was broken by drummer Lars Ulrich, who chatted with Metallica superfan Tracey Bednar, a pediatric ICU nurse from Long Island, New York, during last night’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. During the quarantine, the ABC program is paying tribute to those who are on the frontline of the crisis. Watch Slipknot Perform Two New Songs on Jimmy Kimmel Live!


As expected Slipknot decimated Los Angeles as the band performed ‘Unsainted’ and ‘All Out Life’ live on Jimmy Kimmel Live! To a national broadcast audience last night (May 17th). The band played on the outdoor stage outside the studio to a packed standing-room crowd. Only ‘Unsainted’ aired during the program, which is taped in front of a live studio audience and produced by 12 05 AM Productions LLC in association with Jackhole Industries and ABC Studios. Slipknot’s sixth album, “We Are Not Your Kind”, which will be released on August 9 via Roadrunner Records. The song’s accompanying video was directed by the band’s own M. Shawn Crahan. We Are Not Your Kind was once again recorded at a Los Angeles studio with producer Greg Fidelman (Slayer, Metallica), who engineered and mixed Slipknot’s 2004 album Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) and helmed 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter. Although intentially distorted, the clip features brief teases of the members’ new masks interspersed with footage from past eras of the band. Corey Taylor, frontman of Slipknot and Stone Sour has announced that he is set to undergo surgery on both of his knees today, May 10th. He shared the below pre-op picture from the hospital via his popular Instagram account.
