With their Chicago arena show coming up soon, Misfits have announced a very special 2019 U.S. date that will take place Saturday, June 29 at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Featuring the lineup of original singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig and original bassist Jerry Only the band will be joined by Rise Against, The Distillers, Anti-Nowhere League, and Cro-Mags as special guests. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m. local time at the link below. Misfits played two historic comeback concerts in 2016 at Riot Fest in Denver and Chicago that drew rabid fans in droves from all over the world and shattered attendance records at the festivals. The “Original Misfits” a.k.a. The Misfits reunited last evening for their highly anticipated performance at The Prudential Center arena in Newark, New Jersey. The show took place about half an hour away from where the band formed in 1977. The band played a 27 song setlist (with three left out from their list) and despite the security phone pouches enforced on all in attendance, some fan-filmed footage has leaked out. Live Nation, who owns most of the major concert venues in the US, just teased the first East Coast Misfits show with ¾ of the original lineup (Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle and Dave Lombardo) in over 35 years!
