Long-running rap-rock band Papa Roach has teased a 20th-anniversary event for their second album Infest. “Infest In Conversation” will be held on April 25 — two decades to the day since the arrival of Papa Roach’s second full-length record and first major-label release. “Infest” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and has been certified triple platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America) for sales in excess of three million copies in the U.S. alone. Music, throughout history, has had a way of influencing the social behavior and norms found in human societies. Music is a universal language that is capable of bridging the gap between disparate people and entire social classes, cultures, and continents. Music can also be a tremendously personal thing, a song that has certain significance to one person may hold no meaning for the next. The current immeasurable dissonance in the social climate that spans the entire globe seems to push lost souls to seek comfort in music.
