Mr. Bungle is teasing a new song, coming later this week, Thursday, August 13th! The band earlier this summer shared their cover of The Exploited’s political punk anthem ‘USA’! That single and limited edition t-shirt is out now with 100% of proceeds donated to Musicares Covid-19 Relief Fund! The Bay Area band, whose current incarnation features original members Trevor Dunn, Mike Patton (Faith No More, Dead Cross) and Trey Spruance with Scott Ian (Anthrax, S.O.D) and Dave Lombardo (Dead Cross, ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies), has recorded new music for an EP release, potentially including the seminal demo The Raging Wrath of The Easter Bunny, and new covers and new versions of unreleased songs the band played on their February mini-tour.

Mr. Bungle Releases Cover of The Exploited’s “USA” for Charity, First New Music in 21 Years

After teasing it on social media, Mr. Bungle has shared their cover of The Exploiteds political punk anthem ‘USA’! The single and limited edition t-shirt is out now with 100% of proceeds donated to Musicares Covid-19 Relief Fund! The Bay Area band, whose current incarnation features original members Trevor Dunn, Mike Patton (Faith No More, Dead Cross) and Trey Spruance with Scott Ian (Anthrax, S.O.D) and Dave Lombardo (Dead Cross, ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies), is donating 100% of the proceeds from both the song and a limited edition t-shirt to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, through the 4th of July. The shirt, which will only be offered through Independence Day, is available exclusively via Mr. Bungle’s webstore (https://blixtmerchandise.shop/mr-bungle). The MusiCares’ COVID-19 Relief Fund was created by The Recording Academy to help those within the music community who have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Supergroup Dead Cross Enters The Studio to Track Their New Album

According to a report by Blabbermouth.net, SoCal Hardcore supergroup Dead Cross,  which is comprised of Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Mondo Cane, Tomahawk), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox) and Michael Crain (Retox, Festival Of Dead Deer), has entered the studio to begin recording its second album, due tentatively in 2020. Once again producing the group is Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit), who previously worked on Dead Cross’s 2017 self-titled debut LP. The band broke the news of the latest recording sessions in a tweet on Wednesday (December 4). This lineup is kicking off an extensive tour this weekend in Tuscon, AZ with Le Buttcherttes opening. This run of dates will take the band into their scheduled European dates in September.
