Tuska Festival 2021 Canceled Due to The Pandemic, Set to Return in 2022


Another festival bites the dust due to the pandemic as Tuska Festival has been forced to cancel their 2021 event, and plan to rebook for 2022. Some rock and metal festivals worldwide are trying their best to bounce back from the last year, but in the case of Tuska, they didn’t feel like the conditions worked for hosting the fest. Tuska 2021 was to have been headlined by Korn, Deftones, Gojira, Devin Townsend, Baroness, insomnia,, Beast In Black, Eluveitie, Jinjer, Finntroll, High on Fire, Perturbator, Oranssi Pazuzu, Vltimas, Gaahls Wyrd, Korpiklaani, and many more. Kenny Hickey And Aaron Joos Of Silvertomb Talk New Single, Shopping For A Label And More


 

Ghost Cult was lucky enough to catch up with the guys in Silvertomb (Type O Negative, Inhuman, Agnostic Front) in Philadelphia last fall, while they were on tour opening for Life Of Agony. The guys talked about Silvertomb’s debut single, ‘Insomnia’, fill in drummer Frank Godla (Meek Is Murder, Metal Injection), finishing their debut album, finding a record label, cover songs, and more. Thanks to the guys giving us a few minutes of their time, right before they went on stage. Sorry for the wonky sound for the first minute! Silvertomb Books First Full Tour With Life Of Agony


On the strength of their debut single, ‘Insomnia’, doom supergroup Silvertomb has booked their first full tour. They will support Life Of Agony on their upcoming Rise of the Underground fall us tour, kicking off this week. The band also announced due to a scheduling conflict, drummer Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig, A Pale Horse Named Death), will be replaced on the first four dates of the tour by Meek Is Murder drummer and Metal Injection correspondent Frank Godla.
