Dino Cazares to Join Soulfly as a Live Member for Next Tour


Soulfly has announced that Fear Factory legend Dino Cazares will join the band on stage as a touring member for their upcoming headline tour of the USA, stepping in for Marc Rizzo, who has been dismissed from the band. The 33-date trek kicks off on August 20 in Albuquerque, NM. The final date will be a family celebration as it will include performances by Incite, Go Ahead & Die, Healing Magic. Joining the band for select dates are Niviane and Suicide Puppets.

Arriving at Le Poisson Rouge early in the for the combined Soulfly / Unearth / Evergrey team up tour date, we were pumped to see such an intimate venue host such a diverse night of music. We hung out early, interviewed a bunch of bands on the bill and generally got psyched for a night of different kinds of metal under one banner.

FESTIVAL REVIEW: Bloodstock Open Air 2019


Now in its nineteenth year, the annual metal pilgrimage to Bloodstock Open Air at Catton Hall in Derbyshire was joined this year by a very special, but highly unstable, guest.

The weather.

Yes, I know it’s England in August, and we should be more than accustomed to inconsistent weather conditions, but this really was something else. Tents too hot to be inside one moment were waterlogged the next. People soaked to the skin by sudden, torrential downpours were suffering sunburn minutes later. Grass turned to mud, mud became rivers, and the unprecedented winds would go on to cause problems all of their own.Continue reading

Soulfly Books “Blood On The Street” Tour with Unearth, Incite and More


Metal legends Soulfly have booked a new US Headline tour, dubbed the “Blood On The Street” tour. Direct support will come from Unearth, Incite, Prison and Arrival of Autumn. The 22-date trek will kick off on September 3 in Dallas, Texas and make stops in Baltimore, Houston and Albuquerque before concluding in Los Angeles on September 29th.Continue reading
