The North American “Imperatour” will see the band continue supporting their acclaimed Impera album (Loma Vista) at 19 arenas across the U.S. and Canada (plus an appearance at Virginia’s Blue Ridge Rock Fest), kicking off August 26 at San Diego’s Pechanga Arena and running through September 23 at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Special guests for the tour are Mastodon and openers will be Spiritbox. Tickets for Ghost’s North American Imperatour will be on sale from May 20 at 10am local time at the links below. Ghost performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last night (March 16th, 2022) as they played their recent single “Call Me Little Sunshine” from their new album Impera (Loma Vista Recordings/Spinefarm). Ghost was originally scheduled to perform on the January 20 episode of the ABC show, but canceled the day of citing they “had a bit too much going on in Reno, getting all our shit together” for the band’s U.S. co-headlining tour with Volbeat and Twin Temple. CONCERT REVIEW: Ghost – Volbeat – Twin Temple: Live at The Reno Events Center


With a wave of excitement you could feel in the brisk winter air, fans filed into the Reno Events Center for the first date of the Ghost and Volbeat co-headline tour kickoff show. Ghost had been through town right before the pandemic began, and for a lot of fans I talked to, this was their first show back. Not only is the band a singularly interesting and creative Heavy Metal band, their faithful followers are fast becoming legends on their own for their voracious appetites for all things Ghost. And they didn’t disappoint on this night, many dressed in costumes and churchly garb, as a tribute. Over ten years in existence, the rapport between the band and flock has been inspiring to watch them bloom over time.
