2019 seems an odd year for me to be writing a post about my albums of year, and to have so many albums I want to name-check or mention. Decibel Metal and Beer Fest in Philly Adds Midnight, Gatecreeper, Necrot for 2020, All Tickets On Sale Now

Decibel has announced the final bands for their annual Metal and Beer Festival in Philadelphia. The final bands on the bill are Midnight, Gatecreeper and Necrot have joined the lineup of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly at the Fillmore Philadelphia on April 3-4, 2020. All tickets are on sale now for April. The second edition of their Los Angeles Fest is just weeks away and tickets are moving fast. King Diamond Announces New Album, New Tour Dates with Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats

King Diamond has been hinting at a major announcement for some time and here it is. The title and theme for the first studio album in 12 years is The Institute, due out from Metal Blade Records in 2020, with a debut single this fall. In the meantime, a tour teaser with a sneak peak of the new stage set can be viewed below. Tribulation Wins Swedish Grammis Award, New Tour With Gaahls Wyrd Soon

Swedish dark progressive band Tribulation won the Swedish Grammis award this week for their 2018 album Down Below (Century Media) in the category “Best Hard Rock / Metal Album”. The band will release their EP Melancholia, next week for the first time on Vinyl.
