Slipknot Books New 2022 Knotfest Roadshow Tour Dates with Ice Nine Kills And Crown The Empire



Slipknot has announced today that it will be hitting the road for its fall tour, Another leg of the Knotfest Roadshow 2022 tour, this time with horror-themed metal maestros Ice Nine Kills and metalcore titans Crown The Empire. Produced by Live Nation, the run will kick off on September 20 in Nashville, Tennessee and hit an additional eight cities before culminating in Irvine, California on October 7th. These dates also include festival appearances at Danny Wimmer Presents festivals Louder Than Life and Aftershock. Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Evanescence, Megadeth and More Booked for Rocklahoma 2022


Rocklahoma will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year and has put together a great lineup for the party! ALBUM REVIEW: Pyrithe – Monuments to Impermanence


So, we have got to sit down and talk about how subgenre crazy the extreme metal world has become. It seems like with every week that goes by another fresh batch of new “subgenres” enter the metal lexicon. You see Deafheaven can’t be filed under Black Metal because they’re really a Post Existential Crisis Alternative Shoegaze Latte outfit. Ice Nine Kills’ early stuff was metalcore, but nowadays they’ve drifted over to Slasher Showtunes. I wish good luck to whoever has to classify whatever Pyrithe’s Monuments to Impermanence (Gilead Media).

Metallica Announces Buffalo and Pittsburgh Shows with Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills This Summer


Metallica has announced its only two US shows this summer for Buffalo and Pittsburgh. The concerts will take place at Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium on August 11 and Pittsburgh’s PNC Park on August 14 – both with special guests Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills! Tickets and travel packages for Pittsburgh go on sale now Tickets at 10 AM EST on Friday, March 4. If you’re a Fifth Member, you’ll have early access beginning Monday, February 28. As of now, aside from their show in Las Vegas, and Bottle Rock Napa, these will be the only Metallica gigs this year on their home turf. The band has resumed touring, but is also expected to make progress on a new album this year which means studio time.

When We Were Young Festival 2022 Books My Chemical Romance, Paramore, AFI, Alkaline Trio, and More


Let’s take it way back to Warped Tour ca. 2004 as When We Were Young Festival has announced their 2022 lineup. A Punk, Emo, and Metalcore kids dream, the lineup includes headliners My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Other bands on the bill include Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, The Linda Lindas, Alkaline Trio, Thursday, AFI, Meet Me @ The Altar, Avril Lavigne, Senses Fail, The Wonder Years, ADTR, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, Atreyu, Four Year Strong, Palaye Royale, Acceptance, Anberlin, Knocked Loose, Silverstein, Bright Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance and more are among the bands announced. The festival will take place October 22 at Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets go on sale January 21. Check out the lineup and the ticket link below.

Corey Taylor Has Contracted COVID-19, Cancels Astronomicon Con Appearance


Sad news as Corey Taylor has tested positive for COVID-19, after being vaccinated previously. The frontman of Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman has canceled his appearance at Astronomicon convention in Ann Arbor, Michigan this weekend. Taylor was the headline artist of the con along with stars from AEW, the movie Clerks, horror movies, Mick Foley, Ice Nine Kills, Dirk Manning, and more!
