Horror-loving Metalcore leaders Ice Nine Kills have repped their favorite slasher films hard in 2020. For a late-year surprise, the band has shared a mini-documentary about Scream and the Scream convention, dubbed Scream Comes Home! An Indiegogo campaign has been launched to support the employees of both The Worcester Palladium and Webster theatre, two venues in New England that have been hosts to thousands of metal, hardcore, and rock shows and countless other events for decades. Both venues are operated by Mass Concerts, and the fundraiser is to bring relief aid to their workers due to the cancellation from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Ice Nine Kills has shared the final chapter from their The Silver Scream (Fearless Records) album of last year. They have shared a new music video for the track ‘IT Is The End’, inspired by Stephen King’sIT and current sequel to the remake of the film, IT II. You can watch the clip below. The band created their own mini-horror series starring vocalist and horror aficionado Spencer Charnas to correlate with each of the album’s singles, injecting their own narrative into the movies the tracks pay homage to. Following a prequel and four parts, the fifth and final clip– directed by Daniel Hourihan (Manchester By The Sea, In Your Eyes) of Slow Burn Productions— is out now, for the track ‘IT Is The End,’ features musical guest appearances from members of Less Than Jake and Fenix TX. The band will also release a Deluxe Edition of the album, The Final Cut edition on October 25 via Fearless Records. The album will include four acoustic renditions of songs from The Silver Scream with guest appearances by very special members of both the horror and metal communities, all of which are yet to be unveiled. Falling In Reverse have released another new single and video Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor on the track ‘Drugs’. The clip has two special cameos in the clip, so be on the look out for them. The song is the third and final track in the band’s recent trilogy of standalone songs, which also includes ‘Losing My Life’ and ‘Losing My Mind’. Falling In Reverse is about to head out on a headlining North American tour in April and May. The tour kicks off on April 20 in the band’s native Las Vegas and wraps up May 24 in Los Angeles. Sad news to start the year as former Ice Nine Kills Bassist/Vocalist Shane Bisnett died on January 01st, 2019 at the age of 31. No cause of death has been revealed. Services for Shane will be held on January 10th in Potsdam, NY. A family man, Shane seemed to be loved by many who came into contact with him either in his music career or other areas of his life. Bisnett was a key member of INK from 2009-2011. Vocalist Spencer Charnas posted a remembrance online. We send our condolences to Shane’s family, friends and fans at this time. Continue reading →
