Polish extreme metallers Behemoth are teasing new music and visuals, perhaps for a livestream or home video release across their socials. The band offered fans a new mailing list sign up, which offers fans an early look at the teaser that now went to their social networks. Previously their socials were dark for a short period of time, which is the new standard warning before a big reveal (see also Mastodon, Deftones). The band released a new EP, A Forest, digitally worldwide (with additional physical copies available for purchase) via Metal Blade earlier this year. It was their first new music (aside from a live album tour edition) since their acclaimed release, I Loved You At Your Darkest in 2018.
In a brand new interview, Behemoth frontman Adam “Negal” Darski has revealed the band will release new music in 2021. Speaking with Ireland’s Overdrive was asked if there are any plans for the band to celebrate its 30th anniversary next year. He responded: “Yes, it will be 30 years of BEHEMOTH. Holy fuck!! [Laughs] Well, I’m going to be straight with you here. I’ve always mocked the fact that in Poland, they always book so many anniversary gigs. No one would give a fuck otherwise. It’s just one fucking anniversary show after another one, and I’m, like, ‘So fucking what.’ I mean, no one really cares. Continue reading

Wolves at the Throne Room brought their atmospheric black metal. With keyboards and burning sage and playing just three songs only, they entranced the Philly fans. Continue reading
