British Columbia thrash groove metallers Meridius is streaming their first single “Speed Kills” from their upcoming self titled debut EP due March 20, 2015 via their Bandcamp page here.
With past members hailing from bands full of speed (Howler), progressive (Equestrian Lord), and power metal bands, Meridius’ metal embodies the intensity of aggression and pure mayhem both on stage and in studio. Vocalist Eric Willmont constructs intense imagery through his lyrics covering dark topics (death, torture, war, and violence) all the while fitting in appropriate dash of macabre humour. Through a collaborative writing process, Meridius construct song after song with their sights set on a full length album and tour across Canada to follow their soon to be released debut EP.
