Jamey Jasta Shares Lyric Video for “Return From War” ft. Max Cavalera


Jamey Jasta has shared a lyric video from his recent solo album, The Lost Chapters – Volume 2, which released in December. “Return From War” features metal legend Max Cavalera of Soulfly. Other guests who appear on the LP include Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), Howard Jones (Light The Torch), George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Trivium’s Matthew K. Mark Morton (Lamb of God) has shared a new single from us upcoming mostly acoustic Ether EP, due next week on January 17th via Rise Records. ‘All I Had To Lose’ ft. Mark Morales is a soulful unplugged jam. In addition to his work in Lamb of God and his soundtrack work, Ether looks to be a much more personal and intimate bunch of songs compared with 2019’s Anesthetic record. Howard Jones of Light The Torch Confirms ex-Drummer Firing on The Jasta Show Podcast


Howard Jones of Light The Torch (Blood Has Been Shed, ex-Killswitch Engage) is the guest on episode 499 of The Jasta Show Podcast by Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. During the pod, Howard discussed and confirmed the recent dismissal of drummer Mike Sciulara. The band is currently on tour with Fit For A King, and Ice Nine Kills and the drums for LTT are being handled by Kyle Baltus of 36 Crazyfists. As of now, Kyle is not the new permanent drummer of LTT. Sciulara was not officially announced as fired, but Jones detailed some instances which hastened his exit. Jones also mentioned that Light The Torch has been working on new music and he is hoping to complete pre-production on his vocals by the end of the year, with an eye on a new release in 2020. Jamey Jasta To Release New Solo Album via Exclusive Gas Digital Offer


Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed is releasing his long in the works solo project album Jasta: The Lost Chapters Volume 2 this fall. Jasta announced today that he is offering subscribers to his podcast, The Jasta Show, via Gas Digital a special offer to get early access to the two new singles and the album before the public can buy or stream it. The two singles are ‘Spilled Blood Never Dies’ ft Kirk Windstein of Crowbar, and ‘Silence the Enemy Mind’ with Billybio’s Billy Graziadei. The album features guest appearances from Max Cavalera, George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher, Jesse Leach, Windstein, Howard Jones, Matthew K Heafy, Zoli Teglas, Billy Bio, Phil Rind, Tommy Victor, Joey Concepcion and Frankie Palmieri, as well as his backing band consisting of Charley and Nicky Bellmore (Dee Snider). Jasta will likely not tour behind this album right away since his focus for 2020 will be recording the new Hatebreed album. Jasta’s podcast airs two episodes weekly (Tuesday and Friday) in an interview format, often featuring hour-long, in-depth chats with legends. He is nearing 500 episodes, with the current edition #489, with Amigo The Devil, just aired.

A few beers in and I’m trying to figure out the angle on this new Killswitch Engage release, Atonement (Metal Blade). Sure, to Johnny NoName, it simple to just say “it’s just another Killswitch album, you know what you’re getting.” And sure, there’s a bit of truth to that statement as we get many of the tried and tested play plays from this Massachusetts staple like rock-solid production, punchy mix, and equal parts melody and guitar fire. Former Killswitch Engage singer Howard Jones, presently of Light The Torch, joined his former band on stage in Quebec City, dueting with original/founding singer Jesse Leech for their hit ‘The End of Heartache’. The song is the title track to the platinum album via Roadrunner Records from 2005 that Jones made his debut on. Jones’ new band Light The Torch, which released its debut album, “Revival”, after issuing two efforts under its previous name, Devil You Know, is currently on tour.
