Papa Roach have dropped a fiery new single, the anthemic and political leaning single “’Stand Up” is inspired by the social unrest of marginalized people throughout the world. It’s about feeling of wanting to give up when you’re backed against the wall. For the ones that have been oppressed for so long that a sense of hopelessness is all they have,” shares front man Jacoby Shaddix. “Stand Up is meant to inspire that whisper, that small voice inside that you are worth standing for. Papa Roach has officially announced their previously teased first leg of their North American “Kill The Noise Tour” featuring very special guests Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves. The tour, produced by Live Nation, will make stops in the United States and Canada, marking the band’s first headlining tour in three years. Rock USA and its sister festival Country USA has been forced to cancel their 2020 events due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The festival, one of the biggest in the US, was to have celebrated its 10th-anniversary edition this summer, and was going to take place July 16-18 at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Of the 40 bands and headliners and support acts included Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Rob Zombie (headlining for a 3rd straight year), Halestorm, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, Anthrax, Chevelle, Avtar, Feever333, Hellyeah, Steel Panther, Knocked Loose, Bad Wolves, Attila and more.
