Avant-garde Rock supergroup Tomahawk will release its first full-length album in eight years, Tonic Immobility, on March 26 via Ipecac Recordings. The band features Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, Unsemble), Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Fantômas), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, co-owner of Ipecac) and John Stanier (Helmet, Battles), and the band dropped a new single and visualizer for “Business Casual” which you can hear now!

UPDATED: Supergroup Tomahawk (Faith No More, Jesus Lizard, Battles) Teases New Album and Music


Legendary avant-garde rock supergroup Tomahawk, comprised of current and former members of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Jesus Lizard, Helmet, Battles, and more, has dropped a video teaser! You can hear new music and this may mean we will get news of a new album, too The teaser was shared via the Ipecac Records social media pages, which is the bands’ label, co-owned by frontman Mike Patton. The band has not released new music since 2013’s Oddfellows. Last year, guitarist Duane Dennison revealed the band was working on a new album. The full reveal is expected on January 21st, 2021! EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE: Solaris – “Maledetti/Marnero”


Italian noise band Solaris has debuted a new music video today for the twin tracks “Maledetti/Marnero” – filmed with a combination of live performances and striking visual content. The track comes from their recent album Un Paese di Musichette Mentre Fuori c’è la Morte, out now via Bronson Recordings. The live portion of the video was filmed by Claudio Stanghellini, shot at Bronson Club during a post lockdown release party. While the band seamlessly shifts dynamics and obtuse motifs, they blend different musical styles of noise, post-Rock, psych rock, metal, and more; they draw the most influence from artists such as Helmet, Shellac, or The Jesus Lizard. Page Hamilton of Helmet to Give Lessons Online For the First Time Ever


Page Hamilton, the legendary leader and frontman of Helmet has decided with the pandemic going on to offer online guitar lessons for the first time in his career. He made the announcement to his mailing list, and via the teaser video on his YouTube channel below. Due to touring, recording, and other rigors of band life, he felt he never had the time, but now seems to be the right time. Page also revealed a documentary about the band is in the works, but won’t be completed until after potential tour dates in 2021. Helmet has toured the world in the last few years, notably performing the music for the 25th anniversary of their classic album Meantime (Interscope) in 2017, and Betty (Interscope) which turned 25 in 2019. Next month will be three years since Chester Bennington ended his life. On what would have been Chris Cornell’s 53rd birthday, not only a fellow musician, but also his best friend and Godfather to his son, he took his life. Korn and Faith No More Have Officially Canceled Their US Tour


Another great tour getting the kybosh from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is the highly anticipated tour by Korn and Faith No More. It is officially canceled and it will not be rescheduled. Refunds are available from Live Nation. The tour was to also feature Daron Malakian And Scars On Broadway, Helmet, Spotlights, and ’68. The coast-to-coast 26-city trek — with special guests on select dates — was scheduled to kick off August 7 in Denver, Colorado and make stops in Irvine, Phoenix, Dallas, Brooklyn, Toronto and more, before wrapping up with a performance at St. Louis’s Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on September 17. Korn released the following statement: “The Korn & @FaithNoMore Summer Tour will unfortunately no longer be taking place.
