Ghost Cult caught up with Cory and Meg from Caskey Robbery, to discuss their new album Rituals of Death – out now via Blood Blast Distribution. Having followed the band for a long time, we unpacked the last few years of being a DIY enterprise in death metal, the return of touring, energizing their fanbase with social media, creating sick videos, and finally a track-by-track breakdown of their new album.
The “final” movie in the Halloween film series has been released in theaters, and trust us, it rules! Our return to Haddonfield, Illinois and Michael Myers brough us this awesome movie by Blumhouse Studios, directed by David Gordon Green and produced by John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Green, and Danny McBride among others, the soundtrack has several bangers on it. In addition to the classic Halloween theme song and a score by Carpenter and his son Cody and Daniel Davies tracks include “Halloween” by Dead Kennedys, Don’t Fear The Reaper” by Blue Öyster Cult, and “Burn It Down” by Boy Harsher.

Occult Rockers Ghost have annoucned via social media they will host a special screening of Halloween KJills tomorrow, October 15th, 2021 in Lo Angeles. The bands has yet to reveal the full details, Ghost recently shared a brand new song “Hunter’s Moon.” This is their first new track in two years. Produced by Klas Åhlund and mixed by Andy Wallace, is featured in Halloween Kills. The “Halloween Kills” soundtrack is set to arrive October 15 via Sacred Bones, with the film hitting theaters (and Peacock) also on that day. New England’s Melodic Death Metal band My Missing Half have dropped a gnarly cover of Misfits cover of “Halloween”, just in time for the season. The track is killer, but the video is next level hilarious and features their members and shredders Bijan Hennesy and Nick Petrino (Dee Snider) frolicking in a forest ghoul style and fun and terror ensues!
