Guns N’ Roses Will Release a New Single – “Perhaps” Next Friday, August 11th


Following up on a story first broken by Ghost Cult, Guns N’ Roses will officially release the shelved Chinese Democracy-era Song “Perhaps” on Friday, August 11th. A link to pre-save the track on Spotify and Apple Music was shared via the Universal Music website, although there has been no official announcement from the band yet regarding the song’s imminent arrival. Guns N’ Roses reportedly soundchecked “Perhaps” ahead of the band’s concert in Tel Aviv, Israel on June 5 but ended up not performing it at the gig. However, astute fans who stood outside the venue during soundcheck were quick to bust out their phones and record the rehearsal, with low-quality clips surfacing online immediately thereafter. ALBUM REVIEW: Mammoth WVH – Mammoth II


 

In October 2020 the world lost a true musical legend when iconic guitar icon Eddie Van Halen passed away, signalling the end of one of the all-time classic American Hard Rock bands. In the aftermath his son Wolfgang Van Halen, himself a touring bass player for his father’s band since the tender age of 15, released his first solo album as Mammoth WVH. The record was in many ways a heartfelt tribute to his father as highlighted on the songs ‘Distance’ and ‘Mr Ed,’ and had been in the works since Wolfgang had started recording in Eddie’s legendary 5150 studio way back in 2015.

Howard Stern launched SiriusXM’s new Miami Studios this week. On Wednesday during SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show live from Miami, Howard Stern was joined by Carrie Underwood. Carrie Underwood performing three songs live on the air including a cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home.” Making her debut on The Howard Stern Show, the singer talked about her life and career, including the success of her first album, “Some Hearts,” which garnered her three Grammy Awards in 2007 and the distinction of having the best-selling debut of any “American Idol” contestant. The avowed hard rock fan who previously sang with Axl Rose, said she asked permission form Sharon Osbourne to do the cover and Sharon was sweet about it. Watch it now!
