While some were out hunting for Easter eggs, headbangers had a special treat of their own to look forward to in the form of the eOne Heavy Livestream. With five bands and almost four hours of footage, the livestream was a strong showcase of the label’s impressive heavy roster.
Entertainment One (eOne) has announced eOne Heavy Live, an exclusive livestream promoting some of the label’s best bands. Hosted by Ethan Harrison of Boston metal unit Great American Ghost, the festivities will commence Saturday, April 3rd at 3:00pm ET / 12:00pm PT and feature a headlining performance by progressive metal collective The Contortionist — their first live set of 2021 — with support from Within The Ruins, Enterprise Earth, and Plague Years. Goatwhore is getting ready to hit the road and snap necks on tour this fall. In addition to Knotfest in Bogotá, Colombia on October 26th with Judas Priest, Helloween, Kreator, and Arch Enemy, the band is heading up the Metal Alliance Tour 2018 beginning on Haloween in New Orleans. Direct support will come from The Casualties, Black Tusk, Great American Ghost as well as Morthereon and Gozu on select dates. Long-running blackened death metal legends Goatwhore will headline the 2018 Metal Alliance Tour. Kicking off on Halloween at Southport Music Hall on their home turf of New Orleans, Louisiana, the tour will make its way through over two dozen cities upon its conclusion November 30th in Easton, Pennsylvania. The debut full-length from Boston’s Great American Ghost will drop Everyone Leaves on July 10th from Good Fight Music. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Jay Maas of Defeater, who has also worked with Ceremony and Title Fight. Old Wounds drummer Brandon Gallagher created the cover and layout. Gallagher is know for his own bands’ artwork as well as Full of Hell, Incendiary, and Counterparts.
As a teaser of what is to come, the band is streaming a single in ‘Misery’ and also premiered a new video for ‘Shiver’, featuring Bruce LePage of 100 Demons which you can see below:
