Lamb of God Announces New Album “Omens” – New Single Coming This Week and Extensive Tour Dates Booked


Lamb Of God will release their highly-anticipated new album Omens, on October 7th, 2022. Via Epic Records. The first single, “Nevermore,” arrives on Friday, June 10. Omens was produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur (Korn, Megadeth). The New Wave Of American Heavy Metal architects will support the new album with a massive Live Nation produced U.S. headlining tour, The Omens Tour, featuring special guests Killswitch Engage on all dates. Different legs will also see support from Baroness, Motionless In White, Spiritbox, Animals As Leaders as well as Suicide Silence and Fit For An Autopsy. ALBUM REVIEW: Venom Prison – Erebos


If there’s a silver lining thus far into 2022 it’s that at least we don’t have to wait too long for some good old-fashioned spine-busting metal. We’re barely out of January and we already have fresh releases from the likes of Enterprise Earth, Shadow of Intent and Fit for an Autopsy. Yes, I am aware that Omicron is all the rage back home and some folks are still under lockdown but believe me new riffs and blast beats go a long way in lifting one’s spirits.

The levels of frustration felt by New Jersey HEAVY Metalcore merchants Fit For An Autopsy can only be guessed at, though it doesn’t take much to speculate that by the time they were heading into the studio in 2021 they were feeling pretty hard done by. With worldwide high-profile touring and festival slots planned on the back of the universally acclaimed and sound-perfecting opus The Sea Of Tragic Beasts (Nuclear Blast), instead of riding a tidal wave of riffs and show-stealing gigs, a COVID enforced grounding put the shackles on plans if not for world domination, then a serious amount of scaling up.

Trivium Shares New Photos of Their “Airplane Hangar” Compound


Trivium recently shared their first new single and video from their expected next album, “In The Court Of The Dragon.” The track and video also feature an epic intro composed and orchestrated by Ihsahn (Emperor). Now the band has shared images from their compound, based in an abandoned airplane hangar in Flordia. The band made news at the height of the pandemic in 2020 – buying the hangar to convert it into a recording studio, Metallica-style HQ, and streaming venue/video production stage with their earnings from their very first livestream.
