Spirit Of Rock Presents Ramblin Man Fair 2020 sadly is the latest music festival to cancel their 2020 festival. They have made an extensive announcement on the decision to cancel and have announced dates for 2021. The fest was to feature Hawkwind, Clutch, Blackstar Riders, Monster Truck, Vintage Caravan, The New Death Cult, and Crown Lands and the Prog In The Park Stage lineup of Big Big Train (Headliner), Curved Air (Special Guest), Pure Reason Revolution, Moon Safar, and Lazuli. WRIF’s Riff Fest 2020, ft. Rob Zombie, Halestorm, Beartooth, The Blue Stones, Joyous Wolf, and More Has Been Cancelled

Detroit Radio Station WRIF’s Riff Fest, which was to feature Rob Zombie, Halestorm, Beartooth, The Blue Stones, Escape the Fate, Joyous Wolf, The Black Moods and South of Eden, has been canceled due to the coronavirus (CVID-19) pandemic over safety fears. Bloodstock Open Air Postponed Until 2021, Bands Announced and an Extra Day Booked

It seemed inevitable, but Bloodstock Open Air has been postponed until 2021. The festival made a statement today announcing the move, caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The fest will freeze 2021 prices for the next six months fro those who have yet to buy tickets for the next fest, at which point they will rise. Bloodstock Open Air 2020 is still hoping to go forward with its 20th-anniversary edition this summer in spite of the coronavirus pandemic. The festival has announced that BOA 2020 event planning is proceeding with full care and attention, in order to bring you the best event yet to celebrate 20 Years of Bloodstock. Maryland Deathfest organizers postponed this year’s festival. They have just announced new dates for 2021 (May 27-30, 2021) and revealed that almost the full 2020 lineup will play. Download 2020 is Officially Canceled

 

The 2020 edition of Download UK festival has officially been canceled due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The event was set to take place on June 12-14 at Castle Donington, with headlining performances by Iron Maiden, KISS and System Of A Down with additional bands such as Deftones, Korn, The Offspring, Disturbed, Gojira, Alestorm, Black Veil Brides, Daughtry, and Of Mice & Men and many more. Bloodstock Open Air 2020 continues to pile on the big names with six new acts added to the lineup! Savage Master, Blasphemer, Liberty Lies, Black Tongue, Pist, and Sharks In Your Mouth have joined a bill that includes headliners Devin Townsend (Friday), Behemoth (Saturday), and Judas Priest (Sunday) as well as Hatebreed, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Skindred, Paradise Lost, Life Of Agony, Bury Tomorrow, Black Dahlia Murder, Diamond Head, Jinjer, Vio-Lence, Sacred Reich, Gloryhammer, Dark Tranquillity, Bloodywood and more! The fest also named this year’s charity partner will be the mental health charity Mind. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, and campaign to improve services and raise awareness. 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem every year and Mind won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. Metallica Pulls Out of Sonic Temple and Louder than Life Fests, Citing Personal Issues

Metallica has pulled out of their upcoming expected headline gigs at Sonic Temple this spring and Louder than Life next fall. This is due to James Hetfield’s ongoing recovery work and a need to prioritize his personal self-care, which has suffered in recent years. The band will honor all other shows this year, including Welcome To Rockville. Tool and The Red Hot Chili Peppers will step in for both festivals. Rage Against The Machine Announces World Tour

Reunited Rap-Metal Legends Rage Against The Machine have announced a full world tour, including North America and European, Shows Too. The forty-date world tour brings back Zack De La Rocha, Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commferford will play their first shows of the tour along the Mexican/US border Including El Paso, Texas; Las Cruses, New Mexico; And Phoenix, Arizona. Afterwards, they will headline the 2020 installment of Coachella in Indio, California. Run The Jewels will provide direct support on the extended tour dates in North America. the rest of the spring and fall will see the group playing a number of arena shows and festivals, including Boston Calling, Firefly music festival and Ottawa Bluesfest. in august and September, they will play a handful of shows in Europe.
