Tool Add Corpus Christi And El Paso Dates To 2024 U.S. Tour


 

Tool, who recently extended their sold out U.S. tour into 2024, have added a pair of dates to the upcoming trek: Jan. 30 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas and Feb. 7 at the UTEP Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. Tickets are on-sale this Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 am local time. Pre-sales, exclusive to TOOL Army members, are available tomorrow, Nov. 8, at 10 am local time, running through Nov. 9 at 10 pm local time. A limited number of VIP packages will also be initially available to TOOL Army members, with remaining options, including premium tickets, soundcheck access, exclusive merchandise and more, available to the general public as the on-sale begins. Tool Announces a Second “10,000 Days” and “Lateralus” Inspired Collectable Statue by Alex Grey Coming Next Week


Tool has announced another collectible 10,000 Days album artwork-themed collectible statue. The first one was high-priced, but Tool fans snatched them up and sold out quickly. Their second collectible statue ever from the band again is made with their frequent album art collaborator Alex Grey (https://www.cosm.org) and is “The Fetus in Skull Life-Size Sculpture” – Inspired by the 10,000 Days and Lateralus album artwork(s) by Alex Grey. The Fetus in Skull Life-Size Sculpture is a beautiful and unique artwork capturing realistic details in full 1:1 presentation. Serving as a larger, more finished, version of the previously released Maquette study. Limited quantities will be available March 24th @ Noon (EDT). Other than releasing pricey vinyl collections, Tool has recently announced some major festivals with the Danny Wimmer fests.

It will be available beginning today, December 16th, 2022. Tool has just been announced as a headliner for next spring’s Welcome to Rockville festvial. Other than releasing pricey vinyl collections, Tool has been quiet since the end of their Fear Inoculum World Tour earlier this year. In a recent interview with YouTuber Rick Beato, frontman Maynard James Keenan laid out the next year of activity for one of his bands – Puscifer, who has been super busy with live streams, and new live-in-the-studio albums coming soon. CONCERT REVIEW: Tool – Killing Joke: Live at The Barclays Center


The massive Tool tour tolled into the New York City area in mid-November, and there were telltale signs this was not your typical happening. Sure, Tool is an “event” live and there really is no other show like it on earth. That is not an exaggeration. Take the best arena Rock or Metal show you’ve ever seen and ratchet it up to eleven! That is what we are talking about here. In addition to the power of the record-breaking release of Fear Inoculum (Tool Disectional, Volcano, RCA) we were going to get to hear new songs live, some for the first time ever. All the stress Tool fans felt about the wait for the album and how would it be received have all melted away. Time for this very big deal of a show. Continue reading
