It is no secret that in the world of the music industry creating a unique signature sound is generally first on the list of goals for fledgling bands. Few bands have a sound that is as instantly recognizable as the music of Pete and Sam Loeffler, otherwise known as Chevelle. The long-awaited ninth studio album, NIRATIAS (Epic Records) dropped this week, and good golly miss molly, the brothers Loeffler do not disappoint.

Chevelle Shares Acoustic Version of a New Song – “Endlessly”, New Album Announcement soon


Chevelle has shared a brand new song, in unplugged form dubbed “Endlessly”. In addition to a music video with the track “shot with a cell phone”. Brothers Pete Loeffler and Sam Loeffler shared a video with Pete interviewing Sam and discussing the new album, and that a release date would be shared soon, and that they are filming a new music video this week. No word yet as to who the new bass player will be after longtime member Dan Bernandini stepped down from the band recently. The band’s last studio album was 2016’s The North Corridor (Epic Records), but they released their rarities album, 12 Bloody Spies, two years ago.

LIVESTREAM REVIEW: Lamb of God – Ashes of the Wake Live Stream


As of this writing, the music world continues to be in a state of suspended animation as the Coronavirus outbreak – particularly in North America – dashes any hopes of returning to music venues anytime soon. We’ve bungled the pandemic so poorly here in the states that our moron President and many of his colleagues have been diagnosed with the disease due to failure to follow social distancing measures. Having fans in attendance is starting to seem like a thing of the past, so more and more artists will start turning to live-streamed performances.

Ozzy Osbourne is Back in the Studio Working on A New Studio Album with Andrew Watt

In an interview with Radio.com and reported by Blabbermnouth.net, Ozzy Osbourne reports that he has begun work on a new album with producer Andre w Watt. Watt wrote and produced Ozzy’s last album Ordinary Man (Epic Records) which was released earlier in 2020 and topped the Billboard charts worldwide.

Lamb of God Shares Online Release Events, New Album Out Now


Lamb of God just released their new album, Lamb of God, last Friday via Epic Records (review here, exclusive interview with Willie Adler here). Following the Friday release of their new self-titled album, Lamb of God is connecting with fans through daily online activities today through Thursday, beginning with a “live quarantine video” today on YouTube. Ozzy Osbourne’s “Ordinary Man” Album Lands on Billboard’s “Top 50 Albums of 2020 So Far” List


Even though pop culture and most of the music industry doesn’t care about rock or metal, mainstream critics sometimes surprise you. Ozzy Osbourne’s comeback album, Ordinary Man, (Epic Records, review here:) has been named to Billboard Magazine’s Top 50 Albums of 2020 So Far list from their staff. Extra special in that accolade is that Ozzy has one of only two Rock albums in the list of mainly Pop, Rap, and Dance music albums; the other being by The Strokes. Ordinary Man was produced and written by Andrew Watt, with other writers and performers such as Chad Smith of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duff McKagan of Guns N Roses on bass, with Sir Elton John on vocals and piano, Slash on lead guitar, Tom Morello (RATM) on guitar and Post Malone!

Lamb of God Issues Update About Tour of Europe with Kreator and Power Trip


Lamb of God has taken to social media to share an update with fans about the previously postponed tour with Kreator and Power Trip. The plan now seems to be aiming towards a rescheduled 2021 spring tour, but nothing is confirmed yet. Lamb of God’s new, self-titled album is due out on June 19th via Epic Records.
