In Flames – I, The Mask


 

In Flames is a band, much like most of the daring few whoever made ground-breaking original art, that seems to be judged forever for their earliest success. While it’s true that that have departed from their original pioneering “Gottenburg sound” of melodic death metal, they are certainly never dull and always capable of solid releases with memorable songs. The chorus of angry, arms-crossed dudes that say “I don’t listen to those guys anymore” will always get drowned out by the die-hards, many whom the band picked up as they exploded in popularity. Once you get past the old narrative of the band that escaped beyond what was narrow sub-genre with four good bands, you can appreciate their entire career arc, which is still evolving on their new album, I, The Mask (Eleven Seven Music Group). In Flames Shares New Lyric Video – “Burn”


In Flames is fast approaching their new album, I, The Mask, due out on March 1st via Eleven Seven Music Group/Nuclear Blast. Check out their new lyric video for their track ‘Burn’ on YouTube channel. The track is definitely heavier than the other four songs already released on the album. Going hard from start to finish, this sounds like a partial throwback to the bands no-nonsense melo-death influenced groove metal tracks of the early 2000s. Check it out! Continue reading

Hellyeah has shared a new teaser on social media hinting their new album, expected to be released in 2019 via Eleven Seven Music Group. The record was completed before the passing of drummer and co-founder Vinnie Paul Abbott died of a heart attack last summer.

Bad Wolves Set To Release Their Next Album In Late 2019


In a series of posts to his Instagram account, Bad Wolves singer Tommy Vext has revealed the band will enter the studio in a few weeks to record their second album. The follow up to 2018’s Disobey will release on Eleven Seven Music Group. Disobey earned platinum album status on the strength of three hit singles, including the million-selling single of their cover of ‘Zombie’. Continue reading


In Flames Shares New Lyric Video For “This is Our House”


After releasing two new singles yesterday, In Flames has shared a lyric video for one of the new songs, ‘This is Our House’, which you can watch below. The track comes from the forthcoming new In Flames album I, The Mask, which will be released on March 1st, 2019 through their label Eleven Seven Music.(This Is Our) House’ and ‘I Am Above’ are also streaming now. They also shared a teaser of the new video for ‘I Am Above’ too. The new album will be the first with new drummer American drummer Tanner Wayne, best known for his work with Underminded, Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Chiodos. Wayne is the replacement for Joe Rickard, who played on the band’s 2016 album Battles.Continue reading


Bad Wolves Singer Tommy Vext Hospitalized In The UK


Bad Wolves are currently on their first tour of Europe, opening for rockers Three Days Grace. Sadly things are not going according to plan as Frontman Tommy Vext has been hospitalized in Nottingham UK for the last two days with “a severe viral bronchial infection.” The band is waiting to hear if the have to cancel any dates. Bad Wolves Starts Crowdfunding Campaign For Documentary


Bad Wolves has started an Indiegogo campaign to create a documentary about the story of the bad from their formation through their meteoric rise to fame. They are just under $15,000 of its $65,000 goal. The band also shared a teaser for their brutal new single ‘No Masters’ which you can check out below. The track is the third single from Disobey out now on the Eleven Seven Music label after ‘Hear Me Now’, and ‘Zombie’. Continue reading


Bad Wolves Joined By Singer’s Mom At Hometown Show


There is likely no better feeling than a hometown show for a band. Bad Wolves knows this as they played New Jersey this past weekend, home state to several members of the band.
