Welcome Home is the final album and tribute to HELLYEAH founder Vinnie Paul Abbott (PANTER) who passed away suddenly in June of 2018 from a heart attack. After celebrating the life of Vinnie with an emotional sold-out concert in Las Vegas earlier this year, the band toured extensively across the US where they premiered new material from Welcome Home each night. Music industry legend and Eleven Seven Music and 10th Street Entertainment CEO Allen Kovac (Mötley Crüe, Duran Duran, The Cranberries, Bad Wolves) has been honored at the AIM Independent Music Awards with the “Innovator Award”. The ceremony in London saw Sir Richard Branson congratulate Allen via a special video message. Mötley Crüe celebrated the 30th anniversary of their Dr. Deelgood album yesterday and will release a deluxe edition with a new CD and Vinyl packaging and different merch bundles via their current label, Eleven Seven Music Group. For the past decade or so, melodeath heavyweights In Flames have divided the worldwide metal community. After beginning humbly as a melodic side-project to Jesper Strömblad’s traditional death metal band Ceremonial Oath, the Gothenburg group went on to release a string of innovative albums throughout the mid to late 90s that earned them unanimous acclaim for pioneering a much cleaner, more NWOBHM inspired style of death metal. Alongside the likes of bands such as Dark Tranquility and At the Gates, this fresh approach took the metal world by absolute storm. However, the turn of the decade has seen the Swedes popularity tower to heights not often reached without musical compromise, a notion that most bands of their genre would never dare to entertain. In the case of Anders Fridén and co, they boldly made the decision to incorporate friendly grooves and alternative metal riffs into a core sound that was always considered to be its best when abrasive, off-putting and relentless.

Hellyeah is streaming their brand new song right now! Starting at 8 AM today, jam out to ‘333’ all day on SiriusXM Octane and SiriusXM Liquid Metal. Their new album releases on June 28th from Eleven Seven Music Group. This will be the final Hellyeah album with Vinnie Paul Abbott who passed away last summer. The band filmed the video for ‘333’ music video on March 1 at Duff’s Alcohol Abuse Center, the most famous metal bar in Brooklyn, New York a few weeks back. ‘333’ is a tribute to both Vinnie and his brother Dimebag Darrell, who played together in Pantera and Damageplan. Hellyeah will celebrate Vinnie Paul’s life with a special performance on May 11 at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada.Continue reading
