Ghost Cult’s Keefy caught up recently with Kevin Martin, the mastermind and leader of long-running rockers Candlebox for an interview. The band was on tour in Europe, supporting the 25th anniversary of their multi-platinum, classic self-titled debut album. The band was also promoting their current album, the excellent Disappearing in Airports. In a candid chat, Kevin looked back at the bands’ history, his memories of the early years of the band, performing at Woodstock `94, the ups and downs of the music industry, making new music, the trajectory of the next Candlebox album, and what the future of Kevin’s music career looks like a few more years down the road.
