Upon arrival at Trees in Dallas, it was evident that both the bands and the event staff were excited to welcome the return of live music to their venue. One could feel the excitement build as the empty space came alive with bands loading in gear, sound checks were completed and fans started filtering in.

Dino Cazares to Join Soulfly as a Live Member for Next Tour


Soulfly has announced that Fear Factory legend Dino Cazares will join the band on stage as a touring member for their upcoming headline tour of the USA, stepping in for Marc Rizzo, who has been dismissed from the band. The 33-date trek kicks off on August 20 in Albuquerque, NM. The final date will be a family celebration as it will include performances by Incite, Go Ahead & Die, Healing Magic. Joining the band for select dates are Niviane and Suicide Puppets.

ALBUM REVIEW: Fear Factory – Aggression Continuum


It’s been well documented that the road to Aggression Continuum (Nuclear Blast Records), the latest album from Californian cyber-metallers Fear Factory, has been strewn with obstacles, challenges, and all manner of highly publicised internal disputes. Since its recording, the band has endured a lengthy legal battle which concluded with the departure of vocalist Burton C Bell, and saw guitarist, songwriter, and current studio bassist Dino Cazares winning the rights to the Fear Factory name via auction.

Fear Factory Shares “Disruptor” Video Teaser and Artwork for “Aggression Continuum”

Fear Factory has shared a video teaser for upcoming single “Disruptor” and revealed the art work for new album Aggression Continuum due out this year via Nuclear Blast Records. Last week,, Dino Cazares has posted a snippet of him playing “Disruptor.” Watch a teaser for the “Disruptor” video created by Finland’s Riivata Visuals below. Also available is the “Aggression Continuum” cover art, designed by Light The Torch guitarist Francesco Artusato. Cazares has been posting a lot on Twitter to stay in touch with his fans, and we are likely to learn the identity of the new vocalist for the band next week as well, replacing Burton C. Bell, who announced his departure from the group after thirty years last month.

Fear Factory Confirms New Album This Year, New Single Due out Soon


According to a new report by Metal Injection, Fear Factory’s long-awaited new album, and final release with vocalist Burton C. Bell, is due out sometime this spring. According to guitarist Dino Cazares joined Death Angel’s Ted Aguilar for an interview and said the new album should be out within the next “two or three months”. A single from the album is also expected soon. Dino recently shared some riffs off of the album via a playthrough/teaser.

Dino Cazares Shares a Playthrough of New Fear Factory Music

According to a report by Metalsucks, Dino Cazares has posted a snippet of him playing new Fear Facotry riffs over on his Twitter account. Cazares has been posting a lot on Twitter to stay in touch with his fans, while he presses forward on the new Fear Factory album, tentatively titled Regenerate and due out in 2021 from Nuclear Blast Records. No word yet from the guitar legend how the progress goes on replacing Burton C. Bell, who announced his departure from the group after thirty years last month.
