Their new album III releases on February 21st, 2020 via Century Media Records. Jon talked candidly about the project, the genesis of how he and Hansi first joined forces 30 years ago as friends, his process for composing,the differences between this project and their main bands, why time off and family time are so important to him, Jon’s busy plans for 2020, including creating new Iced Earth music, and more.

Watch Demons and Wizards Cover Iced Earth’s “I Died For You” with Matt Barlow

Progressive Power Metal supergroup Demons and Wizards performed last night in New York City at the soon to be shuttered Playstation Theater. The band made up of members of Iced Earth and Blind Guardian plays their stellar originals and covers of both home bands in their set. The band was joined by former Iced Earth and current Ashes of Ares singer Matt Barlow for a cover of Iced Earth’s classic “I Died Fr You”! Watch and listen to the great cover and the crowd going off! Demons And Wizards Tease A Return

Progressive power metal supergroup Demons and Wizards, featuring Hansi Kürsch and Jon Schaffer are  teasing a return. They launched a Facebook official band page, and Iced Earth shared a message promising an announcement net week. After spending some time working on new music last year the band has been quiet until now. Any new music would be the long-awaited follow-up to Touched By The Crimson King (Warner).
