ALBUM REVIEW: The Bleeding – Monokrator


Within the ferocious realm of UK underground scene, the all-around relentlessly fiery thrash/death unit The Bleeding have been hitting the ground since 2010, (technically) kickstarted by the release of first full-length entitled Rites of Absolution (2017) after several years of releasing EPs and demos, followed by second-full length Morbid Prophecy (2019). Having been noticeably compared to the likes of Exodus, Kreator, Death, and Demolition Hammer, they never cease to present the best of reaping thrash-death metal eclectic rawness.

Overkill Books their First Post-Pandemic Concert in New Jersey


Overkill has booked its first show back – “609 nine days later” since their last time on stage was supposed to happen at the same venue. The legendary thrashers will perform at The Wellmont Theater in New Jersey, in a show that was to have taken place last March 14th and featured M.O.D., now off the bill. Direct support will come from Demolition Hammer and Sworn Enemy. The public on-sale went live today and this show is expected to sell out! Overkill has been in the studio working on a new album, according to social media posts from drummer Jason Bittner.

Overkill Books 2020 Tour Dates with Exhorder and Hydroform


Thrash Metal legends Overkill have booked The Wings Over USA 2020 tour. The tour features labelmates Exhorder and also Hydroform. The 17-date tour will make stops in Anaheim, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Atlanta before concluding in New Jersey. The final date will welcome M.O.D. featuring Billy Milano and Demolition Hammer. Tickets for the tour are available for purchase this Friday, December 20 at 10AM local time. Overkill will be touring in support of The Wings Of War which was recorded at Gear Recording Studio in New Jersey, SKH Studio in Florida, Shorefire Studio and Jrod Productions with engineering handled by DD Verni and Dave Linsk. The album was produced by the band while Chris “Zeuss” Harris handled the mixing and mastering. Travis Smith (Nevermore, Opeth, Soilwork, Death) created the artwork.Continue reading
