Dee Snider’s Next Album Will Feature a Duet with “Corpsegrinder” Fisher of Cannibal Corpse


Heavy Metal icon Dee Snider shared a tweet tonight (March 11th, 2021) in which he announced his upcoming album Leave A Scar, due out via Napalm Records this summer. The former frontman of Twisted Sister posted tonight on Twitter that his new album features George “Corspegrinder” Fisher of Cannibal Corpse on a song called “Time To Choose.” “HOLY HELL!! Just heard mix of a duet (if you can call something this brutal that) with me and #corpsegrinder of CANNIBAL CORPSE for my next album! ‘Time to Chose’ is BEYOND HEAVY! @jameyjasta @CorpseOfficial #HAAAAAARD !!!”

Dee Snider Announces New Solo Album – “Leave A Scar” – Due Out This Summer


In a new interview with New York’s Q104.3 radio station to promote his involvement with Rock Me Amadeus – The Musical, Dee Snider dropped that his new solo album will be called Leave A Scar, due out tentatively in July, via Napalm Records. Dee’s last album, For The Love Of Metal, released in July 2018 via Napalm Records. That effort, which was produced and co-written by Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta, who again produced the new album. 2020 saw the release of For The Love of Metal Live (interview here) on cd/vinyl and blu-ray and marked the 35th Anniversary of Dee defending music and Freedom of Speech against the PMRC. Watch Dee Snider Sing “Love Hurts Uninvited” from “Rock Me Amadeus” – The Musical


Heavy Metal legend Dee Snider is the star of the upcoming musical production “Rock Me Amadeus” – owing as much to his roots in Rock and Metal and in musical theater as well. Conceived by world-renowned opera singer Alyson Cambridge and guitar virtuoso Tony Bruno, Rock Me Amadeus is a new show blending Rock, Classical, and Broadway. After first announcing the upcoming show last fall, they are releasing their newest music video, “Love Hurts Uninvited,” as part of a series of videos to build anticipation for the show. Arranged by Tony Bruno, the song is an original mashup that combines 80s rock of Nazareth’s “Love Hurts,” 90s angst of Alanis Morissette’s “Uninvited,” and the classical strings of Tchaikovsky’s iconic theme to “Romeo and Juliet.” Rock vocalists Dee Snider, Kia Warren and Chloe Lowery co-star in the video. Watch Dee Snider Perform a Concert During Cobra Kai Season 3


After Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take” became part of the classic training montage scene in Cobra Kai Season 2, Dee Snider showed up for more during Season 3, which debuted on New Years’ Day. The entire season features rock and heavy metal music on the soundtrack from Motley Crue, Journey, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, other 1980s classics, and more. Art and music is an expression of society and what people are feeling, and rarely just artists pushing their opinions on fans. But forces were aligning against personal freedom, especially in the United States Government and the Parents Music Resource Center (The P.M.R.C.) led by Tipper Gore, wife of Senator and later Vice President Al Gore; Susan Baker, wife of Treasury Secretary James Baker; Pam Howar, wife of Washington realtor Raymond Howar; and Sally Nevius, wife of former Washington City Council Chairman John Nevius.

Dee Snider Confirms Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure On The Way


Funko, the global sensation of popular vinyl collectible toys company has teamed up with Heavy Metal legend Dee Snider to create a Funko Pop! Vinyl figure Dee confirmed the news in a tweet. Upcoming new Funko Pop! figures include Slipknot and N.W.A. Other artists who have gotten the Pop! Rocks treatment in the past includes Kiss, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Ghost, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Def Leppard, and, Motley Crue, Lemmy, and Rob Zombie. Funko reported that these figurines increased its sales by 38 percent in the second quarter of 2019. The Funko brand went public with an IPO in 2018. International sales spiked 65 percent to $68.5 million, while U.S. revenue grew 26 percent to $122.7 million. Dee also recently confirmed in an interview with Ghost Cult (hear it here) his next album, book, and horror movie. His new live album For The Love of Metal Live! is out now via Napalm Records.
