Rammstein To Release 25th Anniversary Edition of Their Debut Album – “Herzeleid”


 

Rammstein released their debut album Herzeleid 25 years ago today, and now in 2020, the album will get a new life. The Industrial Metal greats will release a limited edition remaster of Herzeleid (XXV Anniversary Edition – Remastered) via Vertigo/UMe, on December 4th, 2020. The release will feature the album’s original tracklist on a single CD, housed in a lavish, cross-shaped digipak with deluxe slipcase, and, for the first time ever, the remastered album with HD sound will be available digitally.Continue reading


Iron Maiden to Release Limited Edition Vinyl of their Debut Album This Fall


 

Iron Maiden and Parlophone Records will issue a special limited-edition 12-inch vinyl version of their iconic self-titled debut album on October 9. The release honors both the 40th anniversary of the album, which came out on April 14, 1980 and reached No. 4 in the U.K. chart, and also 2020’s National Album Day, on October 10 — a celebration of the long-player in association with the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA).

Athanasia Band To Release Debut Album, ft Members of Five Finger Death Punch, Sebastian Bach and Murderdolls


Los Angeles power-trio Athanasia is a new group featuring former members Five Finger Death Punch, Sebastian Bach, and Joey Jordison’s Murderdolls. Founded in California by veteran guitarist/vocalist Caleb Bingham under the band’s original name Ascension. The bands’ early demos landed Caleb a slot with the first incarnation of Five Finger Death Punch in 2005. Leaving that band in 2007, Bingham continued to write under the name Ascension, recording several more unreleased demos (and one EP) at the behest of then Roadrunner Records A&R, now Nuclear Blast Entertainment impresario and tastemaker Monte Conner (Sepultura, Slipknot, Type O Negative, Machine Head, Fear Factory). Now Athanasia is ready to strike with their debut full-length The Order Of The Silver Compass on March 15 via Seeing Red Records and Rock of Angels Records.
