Death From Above 1979 Announce Los Angeles Show

Canadian dance-punk duo Death From Above 1979 has announced a warm up Los Angeles, CA show at the Troubadour on August 14, prior to their upcoming European and US headlining tour.

The band will be releasing their forthcoming new album The Physical World via Last Gang/Warner Bros on September 9, 2014. Produced by D. Sardy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, Wolfmother, Oasis, Slayer), this release comes ten years after the release of their highly acclaimed debut album You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine, which made the duo of Jesse F. Keeler (bass, synths, backing vocals) and Sebastien Grainger (vocals, drums) underground sensations. They broke up in 2006 and reunited in 2011, with talks escalating about their forthcoming album becoming a reality.
