Mouth For War Kicks Off Their New Headline Tour, New Album Out Now



Colorado metalcore crew, Mouth For War, have begun a month-and-a-half long US tour, in support of their latest LP, Bleed Yourself. The live run continues from February 20th in Chattanooga, with Inside You, then moves on from February 29th with MNRK Heavy labelmates Darkest Hour, I Am, and Somnuri. CONCERT REVIEW: Exodus – Exploding Zombies – Jesus Wept Live at The Machine Shop


The nights are getting colder in Michigan, but that did not deter devoted metal heads from trekking out to Flint’s revered venue, The Machine Shop last week. Thrash legends Exodus came to town gifting us with a headlining show. IN MEMORIAM: Remembering Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder (1981-2022)


I’m not going to start this write-up and pretend like I have a solution for grief or that I’ve made peace with the fact that Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder is no longer with us. As of this writing, it’s been nearly a week since his passing and frankly, I’m still trying to process that. Telling myself that it can’t be true since I’ve seen Strnad and his bandmates have seemingly all the fun onstage at least seven times.

In time I’ll accept what has occurred. But let’s take a look back.
