FESTIVAL REVIEW: Sonic Temple 2019

The debut of the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival capped off the Danny Wimmer Presents 2019 spring festival season with sold-out crowds of 120,000 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH, May 17, 18 & 19. It was a fest for the ages and one of the best lineups in the history of “The Worlds Loudest Month”, the signature of Danny Wimmer Presents music festival experiences. In addition to massive performances from Foo Fighters, System Of A Down, Disturbed, Ghost, Papa Roach and Lamb of God, the weekend offered one-of-a-kind art experiences, including legendary street artist RISK, art installations, live mural painting, live screen-printing and the popular Art Tent. Epicenter Festival Replaces Carolina Rebellion, Full Lineup Coming In December

Epicenter Festival has been announced as the replacement for the successful Carolina Rebellion fest which has been retired after seven years. Epicenter will be a new three-day destination music experience from premier independent U.S. music festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents. Moving to the newly created Rockingham Festival Grounds in Richmond County, North Carolina and taking place on Friday, May 10, Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12, 2019. The new festival grounds will be developed in coordination with Rockingham Dragway and Rockingham Speedway, with even more music, extensive camping options, and no curfew. The festival formerly known as Rock On The Range is now Sonic Temple, and it has its inaugural lineup. The very first lineup is an absolute banger with legends like System of a Down, Foo Fighters, Disturbed, Ghost, Bring Me The Horizon, The Prodigy, Lamb of God, Halestorm, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Chevelle, In This Moment, The Cult, Killswitch Engage among others. There will also be a comedy tent with Andrew Dice Clay, Henry Rollins and more. Tickets go onsale November 30th at 12 Noon EST at the link below.
