Arctangent Festival has made a major announcement, their third of many for the 2020 event! Chelsea Wolfe has been named as the mainstage headliner for the Thursday night kickoff. Also added to the bill are Caspian, Emma Ruth Rundle, Bell Witch & Aerial Ruin, Intronaut, Talons, Arabrot, Wheel, The Guru Guru, Latitudes and many more. Opeth, Tesseract (UK festival exclusive), Swans, Metz, Oathbreaker (exclusive), The Locust (exclusive), This Will Destroy You, Amenra (UK 2020 exclusive), Ihsahn, Perturbator, maybeshewill (exclusive), Rolo Tomassi (performing two full albums sets – ‘Grievances’ and ‘Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It’), Earthtone9, Giraffes? Brutal Assault 2019 has added another bunch of bands for the next edition of the festival! New bands added include Parkway Drive, Azusa, Nordjevel, Combichrist, Caspian, Violent Magic Orchestra, Caspian, Déluge, Frog Leap, and Hexis. the bill with more to come. One-hundred and thirty bands will play in the ancient and legendary Josefov Fortress castle on four stages all weekend from 7 -10 August 2019. Caspian has a ton of touring lined up in both the US an Europe, opening for their frequent tour partners Katatonia. The band has also booked a few of dates which will see them play all of their acclaimed 2015 album Dust And The Disquiet. The long running New England Metal And Hardcore Festival held its 19th annual event recently and the lineup was excellent. As usual, fans came from all of New England and even further reaches of musicdom to hangout and rock at the grand old lady of music venues in Massachusetts, The Worcester Palladium in Worcester, MA. Long-running progressive doom band Katatonia had a banner year in 2016, celebrating their 25thanniversaryy and releaseing their latest album The Fall Of Hearts (Peaceville). They have now booked a spring tour coming up in May, with direct support coming from Caspian, and Uncured.Continue reading
