Batshuka Cancels Inferno 2019 Appearance, Aura Noir Joins The Line-up


Excellent kvlt metallers Batushka were recently announced for Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo, Norway. However, they dropped out with no notice this week. Stepping in to replace their will be Aura Noir. The veteran local thrashers join a lineup that includes Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Hypocrisy, Bloodbath, Taake, 1349, Vomitory, Gaahls Wyrd, Carach Angren and more. Kniven Bar Stage Announced For Inferno Metal Festival 2019


Already packed with stellar bands, Inferno Metal Festival 2019 will collaborate with Kniven Bar to present their own matinée stage during Inferno Metal Festival 2019, together with DJs and happenings in the bar. Appearing will be Psykopath, Sepulcher, Nekromantheon, and local Oslo band Purple Hill Witch! Swedish death metal supergroup Bloodbath is confirmed to as a new headliner at Inferno Metal Festival 2019, Opeth and Dimmu Borgir. Opeth Booked For Inferno Metal Festival 2019


Progressive metal giants Opeth have booked a special appearance at Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo, NO in 2019. The festival recently announced such esteemed extreme metal bands as Dimmu Borgir, The Black Dahlia Murder, Taake, 1349 and many more. More bands will be announced soon. Check out the full line-up so far below. Opeth will release Garden of the Titans: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on November 2nd via Moderbolaget Records / Nuclear Blast Entertainment. This historic event was captured for the DVD, Blu-Ray and Vinyl formats during their performance May 11th, 2017 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO. Both the DVD and Blu-ray formats include CDs containing the audio as well.

Carach Angren – Dance And Laugh Amongst The Rotten


Back with another ghost story to tell in their own brand of symphonic black metal, Carach Angren has dropped one of their best in Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten (Season of Mist). Forty-two minutes of orchestral accompaniment paired with eerie lyrics is all it takes for an enjoyable, yet creepy album to make its mark. While some parts come off as a little cheesy at times (which I personally enjoy for the most part in the genre), other parts in the album really pick up the intensity and left a lasting impression after only a few sprints through.Continue reading
