Ryde, a seaside town located on the Isle of Wight is home to former BBC sports presenter turned controversial conspiracy theorist David Icke – it also happens to be where the young trio by the name of Grade 2 originate from. Formed in 2013 at the tender age of 14, the band is comprised of childhood friends Sid Ryan (vocals/bass), Jacob Hull (drums), and Jack Chatfield (guitar/vocals) who united over their love of classic Punk Rock, Ska and O!

Riot Fest was started a few years back in the grand spirit of the old school one-off festivals of lore. It was intended to be special from the get-go and they have done a reasonable job of sandwiching themselves into a busy summer of Lollapalooza, Chicago Open Air, and many other destination festival shows. Riot Fest is coming next month in Chicago with headliners, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Jawbreaker. The 10th edition of Amnesia Rockfest has announced Linkin Park and System of a Down will be headlining the Friday and Saturday nights of the event respectively. Tim Armstrong (Rancid) and Fat Mike (NOFX) are curators of the 10th anniversary edition.
The Offspring will be doing their album Americana in its entirety; Deftones performing their Around The Fur album in its entirety; and Rancid will be doing their And Out Come The Wolves set.
Some of this year’s new features include having several comedians such as Tom Green, Steve-O from Jackass (first Quebec appearance in 10 years, since the 2004 riot at the Metropolis) and Mike Ward. Several other surprises and secret performances are in store for festival-goers.
