Already one of the most exciting things about Bloodstock 2020, just got cooler as Devin Townsend has asked fans to help him choose his setlist with a vote! You can vote at the poll I in the links below! In addition, new bands on the bill include Saxon, Orange Goblin, Conjurer, The Night Flight Orchestra, and Unleash the Archers to an already crushing lineup. Bloodywood, Cattle Decapitation, Memoriam, Ramage Inc, and More Added to Bloodstock

 

Bloodstock Open Air has announced the headliners and other bands for their The Sophie Lancaster Stage added a bunch of new bands Bloodywood, Cattle Decapitation, Memoriam, Ramage Inc., Green Lung, and Bossk to the 2020 edition of the festival. The fest already includes main stage headliners are Devin Townsend (Friday), Behemoth (Saturday), and Judas Priest (Sunday). The festival also welcomes Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Skindred, Paradise Lost, Life Of Agony, Black Dahlia Murder, Diamond Head, Jinjer, Vio-Lence, Sacred Reich, Gloryhammer, Dark Tranquility, and Butcher Babies so far. Many more bands performing over the weekend will be announced in due course. Bloodstock 2020 continues to expand its roster with the announcement of two new headliners: Judas Priest and Behemoth! Judas Priest will perform their 50th Anniversary set while Behemoth will perform their grand headline show. You can watch teaser videos of the announcement from both bands below. Also joining the bill are Philip H. Devin Townsend is The First Headliner Announced For Bloodstock 2020

Bloodstock Open Air has made their first headliner announcement for their grand 2020 anniversary festival, naming Devin Townsend to headline Friday Night on the Ronnie James Dio stage. Devin breaks the news in a video you can watch below. Other bands announced are Jinjer, Gloryhammer, joining previously announced acts Skindred, Black Dahlia Murder, Vio-Lence, Sacred Reich, Dark Tranquillity, and Butcher Babies. Two more headliners and scores more bands to be announced until next summer.  Continue reading

Nonpoint Shares Two New Songs, New Album Due Out In August

Rockers Nonpoint, who are in equal measures one of the most consistent bands on record and always killer live have surprise dropped two new singles from their forthcoming album X, due out August 24th via Spinefarm Records. ‘Chaos And Earthquakes’ and ‘Dodge Your Destiny’ are streaming now. What happens when you take a tired musician and send him to Welcome to Rockville? You AMP him beyond belief, yes pun intended. As I stood in line waiting to get into the venue, I could feel the wave of emotions in the air. Shouts of joy and chants from all over, spurred on by local rock hype group “The Rockvillans”, were just the tip of what I was about to experience.
