Modern metal heavyweights, Sylosis, are making preparations for an upcoming UK and Ireland tour in April. In advance of the live run, they have just released a live video for “Poison For The Lost.” It comes from their last full-length album, A Sign Of Things To Come, with the video filmed in London while on tour with labelmates Malevolence in 2023. Another bumper 2000trees Festival announcement today (Thursday 7th March), the final one for the 2024 event, with the 3rd and final main stage headliner, as well as a host of some of the finest acts, artists and bands playing across all of the events six+ stages. The 3rd main stage headliner for 2024 will be British rock outfit Don Broco (their only live show of 2024), who have had radio A-list singles, sold out arenas and most recently, a UK number 1 album with ‘Amazing Things’ in 2021. This will be the Bedford 4-pieces first ever appearance at 2000trees, and one that will for sure live long in the memory. Also announced today includes 2000trees royalty and all round legend, punk rock troubadour Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, in the mix for most exciting UK bands around (and also a fully-fledged 2000trees hero) Bob Vylan, one of the most talked about bands in the world right now Wargasm, the stunning Welsh indie band Los Campesinos! (who are playing their first outdoor festival since 2014 at 2000trees), and following on from their 2000trees debut last year, returning rock royalty in Empire State Bastard. It will be the final festival appearance for Palm Reader, who annoced they are disbanding this summer. Continue reading

Employed To Serve Books UK a Headline Tour


Rising UK Metal band Employed To Serve have announced a last-minute run of UK headline shows, set to kick-off in Huddersfield on May 17th 2022. South London metallers, Burner, will be opening proceedings across the 9-date tour, whilst shoegaze two-piece, Zetra, will appear as special guests across both Milton Keynes and St Albans. These dates are in addition to this summer highly-anticipated festival dates such as Rock For People, Graspop Metal Meeting, Roskilde Festival, Resurrection Festival, and a tour planned as the direct support opening for Gojira. The band are supporting the new album Conquering (Spinefarm Records, review here) out now!
