Norway’s Inferno Metal Fest have announced another batch of artists for their March 2024 lineup. Now joining the bill – which already features At The Gates, Candlemass, and many others – are Me and That Man, Mantar, Befouled, Zustand Null, and Visegard. Norwegian metal festival, Inferno, recently revealed the second raft of bands added to their 2024 lineup. Additionally, they have just announced At The Gates will be joining the fray. As in previous years, the bill, spread across several Oslo venues, comprises of classic acts and newcomers, largely from the realms of extreme metal.

I was lucky enough to catch the Saturday Matinee, in true New York fashion. I opted for the 430 PM show in an effort to save my aging infrastructure from a night of TOTAL obliteration.
The intersection of Norse-Pagan culture, ancient dark folk music, and metal will take place once again at this summer’s Midgardsblot. Black metal pioneers Borknagar have just released their 25th anniversary re-issue of their self-titled debut album worldwide today via the band’s longtime label partner Century Media Records. To celebrate the release, the band have released a new visualizer clip for their track “Dauden (Remaster 2021)”, which was created by Wanderley Perna / W Designer. Crushing news for the summer festival season in Europe, as France’s legendary Hellfest, has been canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The festival announced today it was unable to host the festival, which takes place in Clisson, France, outside of Paris. Hellfest 2021 is already announced for next summer.
