Desertfest UK Adds High On Fire As Final Headliner, The Obsessed, Church Of Misery, Death Alley And More Added To Lineup

Desertfest has named High On Fire as the final headliner to their 2018 UK festival. They have also added eleven more bands to the bill including The Obsessed, Church Of Misery, Death Alley, Ackercoke, and more. Desertfest Antwerp takes place this weekend in Belgium, at the legendary Trix Club. Named for the distinct cult style of California’s Palm Desert style of rock, doom, and psychedelic influences, pioneered in the 90s by bands like Kyuss, Acid King, Fu Manchu, Goatsnake, Monster Magnet, 60 Watt Shaman and more. The fest itself and its related other events represent the best in underground culture, with music ranging from stoner rock, doom, indie bands, and other styles to please fans of discerning taste. Black Rainbows Streaming “The Prophet” Music Video, Euro Tour Dates

Black Rainbows is streaming their new music video for “The Prophet,” from their upcoming album Hawkdope, out March 17, 2015 via Heavy Psych Sounds, here.

The band formed in 2005 and has six releases out now including a four-way split featuring Naam, White Hills, Black Rainbows and The Flying Eyes. The band proudly cites Nebula, Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer and the MC5 as particular favorites and influences.

Black Rainbows is Gabriele Fiori on guitar and vocals; Alberto Croce on drums; Dario Iocca on bass.

Black Rainbows Releasing Hawkdope March 17th

Black Rainbows is releasing their new album titled Hawkdope on March 17, 2015 via Heavy Psych Sounds Records.

Hawkdope was recorded last August at Heavy Psych Sounds studio and was produced by Gabriele Fiori, who is also the band’s guitar player and vocalist as well as the man behind the label.

The band formed in 2005 and has six releases out now including a four-way split featuring Naam, White Hills, Black Rainbows and The Flying Eyes.
