EP REVIEW: Panzerchrist – All Witches Shall Burn

Signed under Emanzipation Productions, the Aarhus-based Danish extreme metal warlords Panzerchrist –who have been around for about thirty years– are back on releasing a new four-track EP, All Witches Shall Burn, which was recorded in the same session of their 2023 album Last of a Kind. The recording process was done in Antfarm Studios with a production process involving Tue Madsen who has previously worked with many big names in the extreme metal scene such as Behemoth, At The Gates, and Aborted.

Coming out of Louisville, Kentucky is Volcandra with a brand new 4 song EP jam-packed and overflowing with melodic Black Metal fury. Their 2020 debut full-length debut, Into the Azure, was met with tons of fanfare thanks to their science fiction futuristic driven songwriting approach and furious live performances. Formed in 2016, Devon’s Cistvaen are building a solid reputation for themselves within the UK extreme metal scene. Taking their name (literally translating to “stone chest”) from a type of ancient burial chamber often found in the South West of England, the five-piece’s brand of doomy atmospheric black metal suits them down to the ground.
