Their message is real, they are real, and that has never waivered throughout their discography. While their debut album Narrative left an impactful first impression, their sophomore album American Sun lost the traction it deserved when COVID cut it’s tour cycle short; Making their new album, Soul Revolution (Better Noise) have all the more weight added onto its release.
It doesn’t seem more than a riff or two ago that Five Finger Death Punch was on the cusp of being the biggest thing in Metal (heavy, groove, mainstream or otherwise). San Antonio-based rock outfit Nothing More have previously shared a new single and lyric video – “Spirits” – the title track from their forthcoming new album due out October 14th 2022, via Better Noise Music. The track is streaming on all DSPs. In addition to the hook-laden rock single, the band has launched their own “Spirits Test.” Developed over recent years by front man Johnny Hawkins, the Spirits Test combines what’s been learned from similar personality tests including Myers-Briggs, The Big 5, Carl Jung and the Zodiac. Five Finger Death Punch will return to Europe for a string of tour dates, their first since early 2020. Kicking off at Nova Rock Festival in Austria in June, the band will (Headline show) festivals and perform in arenas. Megadeth and Bad Wolves will be the special guests in Berlin, Moenchengladbach, and Rotterdam – reuniting FFDP with their 2020 touring partners. Tickets go on sale October 29th, 2021. The band is currently in the studio working on new music for their forthcoming ninth studio album to be released in 2022. Continue reading
