Detroit Radio Station WRIF’s Riff Fest, which was to feature Rob Zombie, Halestorm, Beartooth, The Blue Stones, Escape the Fate, Joyous Wolf, The Black Moods and South of Eden, has been canceled due to the coronavirus (CVID-19) pandemic over safety fears. The station and the promoter 313 Presents.

Metalcore leaders Beartooth will perform as part of Red Bull Records’ first-ever Virtual Music Festival. The band is taking a break from the recording process to participate in Red Bull Records’ first-ever Virtual Festival, airing Friday, May 1 exclusively on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch (links below). The at-home event is hosted by DJ and television/radio host Hannah Rad and will highlight the label’s lineup of diverse and cutting-edge talent. The multi-genre, livestreamed festival will feature intimate at-home performances from Red Bull Records artists, exclusive content, surprise guest appearances and more, entertaining fans across the globe while staying indoors. Beartooth came off the road in early March after consecutive sold-out tours in the U.S. and the UK and immediately started wrtiing the follow-up to 2018’s Disease.Continue reading
It comes as no surprise that this year’s Aftershock Festival was once again sold out. I mean, how could it not with big-name talents such as Slipknot, Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Blink-182, Lamb of God, Dropkick Murphys, Marilyn Manson, Bad Religion, Chevelle, and many others. And with the über-early announcement of next year’s headliner—Metallica, for those of you living under a rock—there’s no question that 2020’s Aftershock will sell out as well. Beartooth has shared a performance video for their track ‘Bad Listener’. The performance video was shot at the bands’ performance at Rock Am Ring this past summer. The Columbus, Ohio-based band took the stage in front of over 70,000 music fans from across Europe. The band covered 1960s Classic Rock era song ‘Wild Thing, made famous by The Troggs, covered countless times in rock history, and popularized in the 1989 comedy Major League, in honor of the Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Game T-Mobile Home Run Derby.
