Kerry King Honors the One-Year Anniversary of The End of Slayer

One year after the final performance of Slayer’s entire career at a hometown show in Los Angeles, Kerry King honored the moment with a shot and a Slayer shirt! Kerry’s wife Ayesha King took to her Instagram to post a photo of her husband, and she included the following caption: “Kerry threw on a SLAYER shirt and poured a shot for you all to mark the anniversary of the last SLAYER show one year ago today. Have a shot with us! Cheers friends!” Peers from other bands such as Scott Ian of Anthrax and Phil Demmel of Vio-lence, who filled in for slayer for a few shows on their farewell tour, paid tribute in the comments. Slayer finished their final world tour and members of the band and those close to the band, such as Ayesha King, claim the band will never reunite. Slayer continues to operate as a brand with legacy projects, new merch, and more. Kerry King is reportedly starting a new band with his former Slayer bandmembers Gary Holt and Paul Bostaph.
