FESTIVAL REVIEW: Sonic Temple 2019

The debut of the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival capped off the Danny Wimmer Presents 2019 spring festival season with sold-out crowds of 120,000 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH, May 17, 18 & 19. It was a fest for the ages and one of the best lineups in the history of “The Worlds Loudest Month”, the signature of Danny Wimmer Presents music festival experiences. In addition to massive performances from Foo Fighters, System Of A Down, Disturbed, Ghost, Papa Roach and Lamb of God, the weekend offered one-of-a-kind art experiences, including legendary street artist RISK, art installations, live mural painting, live screen-printing and the popular Art Tent. I have always been a soul that yearned to watch my favorite bands live. There is nothing like hearing the songs that have become the soundtrack to your life performed live. One of the most animated and entertaining bands of present day is Swedish Heavy Metal Band, Avatar. To say the band’s live performance is theatrical would not be giving it justice. BABYMETAL Stream New Single “Elevator Girl”, Books USA Tour With Avatar

BABYMETAL has streamed a brand new single, ‘Elevator Girl’, out now via their international label earMUSIC to stream and purchase. The track is the first new music from their highly-anticipated third album due later this year. The dynamic “kawaii metal” group blending J-Pop and Power Metal that has taken the world by storm in just a few short years will finally embark on a headline tour of North America next fall. The band’s first-ever full-scale headlining U.S. tour will kick off on September 4 in Orlando, Florida, and run through an October 16 in Seattle, Washington. The trek includes the previously announced October 11 gig at The Forum in Los Angeles, which will mark BABYMETAL’s first headlining arena show in the States. Avatar will provide direct support on all dates. They also will play London 02 Academy Brixton on Tuesday 2nd July, marking their first UK headline show since their record-breaking Wembley Arena show in April 2016.
