Set to kick off in April, the tour also features direct support from Napalm Death and Unto Others as special guests. Charlotte Wessels (ex-Delain) to Release Solo Debut – “Tales From Six Feet Under”


Former Delain singer and songwriter Charlotte Wessels will release her solo debut album Tales From Six Feet Under, via Napalm Records on September 17, 2021. The album is a compilation of her tracks from her pandemic era Patreon sessions, in which she put out an eclectic series of tracks, one per month, from her home recording studio, Six Feet Under Studios. The album also features a stirring collab with Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy. Check out the first single and new video for Soft Revolution – along with a studio report from a few months back.

Behemoth, Arch Enemy, and Carcass To Team Up for a 2021 Tour


Three legends of metal will unite in 2021 as Behemoth, Arch Enemy and Carcass will tour together. The tour, dubbed “The European Siege” will take place in Europe in the fall of 2021. Direct support will come from Unto Others, formerly know as Idle Hands. Tickets for all European shows will go on sale this Wednesday at 10am CET, with European shows following on Friday at 9am GMT.

Disciples of Verity Share Music Video for “I AM I” ft. Joe Gareri


 

Rock and Metal supergroup Disciples of Verity (DOV) have shared a new official music video for their song “I AM I.” Their debut album Pragmatic Sanction is out now (read our review here)! The band counts Corey Glover (vocalist Of Living Colour and Bowie Experience), George Pond (bass, ex Negative Sky), Corey Pierce (drums, God Forbid), Mark Monjoy (rhythm guitar, Sekond Skyn), and their debut album is out now! The album boasts guest appearances from Phil Demmel (Vio-lence) Morgan Rose (Sevendust), Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy), Tara McLeod (Kittie), Mike Antine (Majul), JJ Sammataro (Negative Sky), and solo artist Joe Gareri. The band kicked off a mini-tour of the east coast last fall (2019) but had to postpone future tour dates and their record release party until 2021 due to the pandemic. Continue reading

ALBUM REVIEW: Dark Tranquillity – Moment


Melodic Death Metal pioneers, Dark Tranquillity, release their twelfth studio album Moment (Century Media Records). The twelve-song album began recording shortly after founding member Niklas Sundin announced his departure from the band (Editor’s note: although he is still involved with the band behind the scenes) on their social media platforms, after touring members, Christopher Amott (ex-Arch Enemy) and Johan Reinholdz (Andromeda) formally joined Mikael Stanne, Anders Jivarp, Martin Brändström, and Anders Iwers as part of the official dT lineup.

Ghost Cult caught up with Binary Code leader and guitarist Jesse Zuretti to chat all about his new album, releasing this week, May 15th. The three-year journey to release the record was an arduous one for Jesse and he had many personal issues to overcome. He did so with the help of making music, which, if you hear this new album, is amazing. Jesse went into depth about the ordeal he went through, his creative process, how each member of this band and team stepped on this album on every level, working with producer Aaron Smith (7Horns7Eyes) the songwriting process, their cover of Mazzy Star’s ‘Fade Into You”, their abandoned (for now) covers EP, how Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy/Nevermore) came to play on the album, making music as a composer for Marvel Entertainment and more.
