Bloodstock Open Air 2023 Books Candlemass, Tribulation, Royal Republic, Employed To Serve, Witchsorrow, Wytch Hazel, Skin Failure, and More


Bloodstock Open Air 2023 (BOA) has announced a slew of new bands, filling out the Ronnie James Dio Main Stage, and Sophie Lancaster stage. Now on the bill are Candlemass (replacing Whitechapel who have dropped out), Tribulation, Royal Republic, Employed To Serve, Witchsorrow, Wytch Hazel, Skin Failure, Bloodyard, Wolfbastard, Tribe Black Coast, Russkaja, Gaerea, and Striker. Bloodstock Open Air 2023 Adds Meshuggah and Helloween


Bloodstock Open Air has added two new bands for 2023, including an all-important third headliner! to the already impressive lineup! Meshuggah is now the day two headline band, along with the addition of Power metal kings Helloween. Full details are below. CONCERT REVIEW: Jinjer – All Hail The Yeti – Live at The Warsaw


One of the fastest rising bands in the metal scene today, it’s no surprise that fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Jinjer to the United States, supporting their recent album Wallflowers (Napalm Records – read our review here). Having sold out numerous shows on their tour with Suicide Silence and All Hail The Yeti, it was incredibly exciting to see what this team could deliver during their stop at The Warsaw in Brooklyn.

FESTIVAL REVIEW: Bloodstock Open Air 2019


Now in its nineteenth year, the annual metal pilgrimage to Bloodstock Open Air at Catton Hall in Derbyshire was joined this year by a very special, but highly unstable, guest.

The weather.

Yes, I know it’s England in August, and we should be more than accustomed to inconsistent weather conditions, but this really was something else. Tents too hot to be inside one moment were waterlogged the next. People soaked to the skin by sudden, torrential downpours were suffering sunburn minutes later. Grass turned to mud, mud became rivers, and the unprecedented winds would go on to cause problems all of their own.Continue reading
