Watch Twisted Sister Reunite To Discuss Their Career at Spooky Empire 2019

The living members of Rock legends Twisted Sister reunited at this years’ Spooky Empire Convention to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the band’s classic album Stay Hungry. Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Eddie Ojeda and Mark “The Animal” Mendoza were together again at the Spooky Empire horror-themed convention in Tampa, Florida for a very exclusive, one-time-only gathering. All four members signed autographs for fans on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2. They also took part in a question-and-answer session, video footage of which can be seen below. A limited-edition Twisted Sister commemorative Stay Hungry 35th-anniversary coin was made available at the show. The band retired in 2016 after completing a farewell 40th-anniversary tour. The band’s last-ever concert took place in November of that year — 20 months after the passing of longtime drummer A.J. Pero. Watch fan-filmed footage below. Continue reading


Adrenaline Mob – We The People


I gotta admit, I liked Adrenaline Mob’s second disk Men of Honor. It was great for doing cardio. So, I had a good feeling going into We The People (both Century Media). It didn’t disappoint. We The People is the same hard-driving, pristine, Heavy Metal album Adrenaline Mob’s predecessor was. Adding David Zablidowsky on bass and Jordan Cannata on drums, We The People exhibits a healthy rhythm section that has us all breathing a sigh of relief. I honestly didn’t think it would “work” without AJ Pero, but bless! I’m happy this album is as strong as it is. Continue reading


Twisted Sister and Adrenaline Mob Drummer AJ Pero Passes Away at Age 55

Twisted Sister and Adrenaline Mob drummer AJ Pero was found unresponsive on Adrenaline Mob’s bus this past Friday, March 20, 2015. It is reportedly due to a heart attack, his longtime agent said he had been complaining of a sore arm and took a few days off to rest. This incident took place in Poughkeepsie, NY, where they were supposed to perform later that evening.

Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay French joined Adrenaline Mob on stage at a tribute show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ this past Saturday, March 21, 2015 doing “You Can’t Stop Rock N Roll.” View footage below.
