Staind Announces New Live Album and Livestream Series


Multi-platinum active rock band Staind has returned to activity with a new live album from their comeback tour in 2019 and has also announced a livestream series. The band will release their first album in 9 Years, Live: It’s Been Awhile, on May 7th, 2021. The performance comes from their tour stop in their comeback show at their old stomping grounds at Foxwoods Casino and Resorts in Connecticut, a short drive from the band’s Massachusetts roots. They also announced The Return Of Staind: A Two-Part Global Streaming Series, in partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents (Sonic Temple, Welcome to Rockville, Louder than Life, Aftershock Festival). Tool is kicking off their fall headline tour of North America today as the final headliner of Aftershock Festival tonight in Sacramento, California. The bans has announced their lineup for their always coveted tour poster art, which always sells out every show and is often sold and traded between fans. Following Aftershock, the band will embark on their headline tour supporting their global #1 album Fear Inoculum (Tool Dissectional/ Volcano/RCA). Direct support on all tour dates to come from Killing Joke. Watch Staind Reunite at Louder Than Life Festival


Staind has its first full-band reunion concert this last weekend at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY. The band performed their first full show in five years. Previously the band briefly reunited at a charity concert headlined by Aaron Lewis. The band will perform two more shows this coming weekend at Foxwoods Resort and Casino October 5th and 6th to be recorded for a future release), and in a few weeks at Aftershock Festival. Opening the show with the classic ‘Eyes Wide Open,’ from the band’s 2011 self-titled album, to the roar of an energized crowd, the band played a set of their biggest hits including ‘So Far Away,’ ‘Right Here,’ ‘Fade,’ and the #1 smash single, ‘It’s Been A While,’ one of the most played songs in modern rock radio history.
